In their brief history, Blacken released one self-titled EP and began work on a full-length CD. They were also veterans of the regional club scene, their home base being Never On Sundays in Cincinnati. They broke big when they were featured on Jack Slash’s syndicated radio show, Metal Mayhem. There were rumors that they were negotiating for a spot on the second stage at Ozzfest. They were truly on their way to superstardom in 2001, when returning from a show, their van flipped in a freak accident, tragically killing the entire band.
